The ConductScience Blue Light Transilluminator provides a safe, high-contrast alternative to UV-based gel imaging. Using a high-intensity 470 nm blue LED array, it excites SYBR Green, SYBR Safe, GelRed, and other blue-light-compatible nucleic acid stains with exceptional sensitivity. The non-mutagenic blue light eliminates the carcinogenic hazards associated with UV transilluminators, making it suitable for open bench use without a UV shield.
The included orange filter goggle set provides high-contrast band visualization for hands-free operation. Compatible with standard agarose gel formats up to 20x25 cm. Mains-powered with a dimmable LED intensity control for optimal band resolution across different stain concentrations.
