What is Sleep/Wake Analysis?

Automated sleep/wake analysis classifies behavioral states — active wake, quiet wake, NREM sleep, and REM sleep — from continuous video recordings, piezoelectric sensors, or EEG/EMG signals. Disrupted sleep architecture is a biomarker in models of insomnia, neurodegeneration, chronic pain, and metabolic disease.
