The white painted label area takes pencil, and it is the coated label surface a laser slide marker needs. The ConductScience UV laser slide marking system marks 25 × 75 mm slides, 1 to 1.2 mm thick, with a coated label area, loaded painted side up, so these slides go straight into its magazine.
Each slide measures 75 × 25 × 1.2 mm, with polished edges and 45° clipped corners for safe handling. Slides come 50 to a box.
How It Works
The glass surface is treated to be hydrophilic and adhesive, so a section floated onto it spreads flat and bonds as it dries. That bond holds through heat-induced retrieval and the repeated washes of IHC and IF, where untreated glass lets sections lift.
