Standard Chamber
1 L headspace; rigid PVC (UPVC) shell, 304 stainless steel lining
Operating Conditions
0 to 50 °C; 0 to 100% RH, non-condensing

The standard chamber presses 50 mm into the soil and holds 1 L of air above it. A pump draws that air through the meter, which reads its CO₂ continuously.

The meter also measures temperature, relative humidity and the photosynthetically active radiation (PAR) reaching the site. It stores its readings for export to a computer, where you can analyze or print them.

To log soil moisture, temperature and electrical conductivity beside each chamber, use our Soil Three-Parameter Tester. For soil water potential, use our Digital Soil Water Potential Meter.
