The ConductScience UV Aging Test Chamber uses fluorescent UVA and UVB lamps to replicate the degradation effects of outdoor sunlight and weathering on materials and coatings. Environmental damage that accumulates over months or years outdoors can be reproduced in days or weeks in the chamber, enabling rapid material qualification, formulation screening, and durability certification.

Three models are available, each adding a layer of environmental simulation: BJPX-UATC1 provides UV lighting alone for photodegradation and lightfastness testing; BJPX-UATC2 adds a programmable condensation cycle for combined UV and humidity exposure; BJPX-UATC3 adds a rain cycle for full accelerated weathering simulation including UV, humidity, and rainfall events.

Common degradation phenomena reproduced include surface fading, discoloration, chalking, cracking, peeling, and embrittlement. Applications span coatings, inks, resins, plastics, packaging materials, adhesives, automotive components, cosmetic formulations, metals, and consumer electronics.
