Offline Total Organic Carbon (TOC) Analyzer
This offline TOC analyzer employs UV oxidation technology paired with a high-sensitivity conductivity detector to deliver precise quantification of total organic carbon in purified water systems. Designed for pharmaceutical manufacturing, microelectronics fabrication, and water-for-injection applications, it meets the stringent requirements of FDA-21 CFR Part 11 and complies with USP, EP, JP, and CHP pharmacopeial standards.
Applications
- Pharmaceutical water quality monitoring (purified water, water for injection)
- Microelectronics ultrapure water analysis
- Environmental water testing and compliance
- Quality control in food and beverage production
- Research laboratory water purity verification
Key Features
- UV Oxidation Method: Chemical-free analysis eliminates the need for acids, gases, or catalysts, reducing operating costs and environmental impact
- 1 ppb Detection Limit: Ultra-sensitive conductivity detection enables trace-level TOC measurement from 0.001 to 1.5 mg/L
- Rapid Analysis: Complete TOC determination in just 3 minutes per sample with response time under 10 minutes
- Intuitive Interface: 7-inch color touchscreen with smart UI for one-button sample introduction and automated operation
- Regulatory Compliance: Full FDA-21 CFR Part 11 support with audit trail, electronic signatures, and data integrity features
- Comprehensive Data Management: 8 GB internal storage with USB export and Bluetooth thermal printer connectivity
- Modular Design: Easy maintenance with quick-access modular components for minimal downtime
Operating Principle
The analyzer oxidizes organic compounds in water samples using high-intensity UV radiation, converting carbon to CO₂. The resulting change in water conductivity is measured by a precision conductivity detector, providing direct quantification of TOC concentration. This method requires no chemical reagents, making it ideal for continuous monitoring applications where reagent handling is impractical.
