From Research Need to Trademarked Product
Dr. Lorenz S. Neuwirth needed better tools to study how lead exposure damages cognitive development in rodents. Existing apparatus couldn't capture the data he needed. We built the Neuwirth Hole Board Test™ — a two-day protocol measuring anxiety, spatial memory, and exploratory behavior. He published his findings on taurine's neuroprotective effects, and the apparatus became a catalog product. He then co-developed a second invention, the Neuwirth-Brown™ Attention Set-Shift Test, which now has a US patent filing. Two custom builds, two publications, two products in labs worldwide.
