How does ConductScience GaitMaster work?
As an animal voluntarily traverses the ConductScience GaitMaster walkway, its paws make contact with the glass surface, light fron the green side lights is scattered at the contact point (due to pressure
breaking total internal reflection). This produces green illuminated paw prints, which are captured by the high-speed camera. These prints represent the stance phase. Our ConductVision gait analysis software then gives accurate gait metrics.
