Frozen tissue sectioning
The 2265 cryostat combines a refrigerated chamber, microtome and touchscreen controls for preparing frozen tissue sections. It has 24 freezing stations, including six semiconductor quick-freezing stations.
The chamber cools to −30 °C and the blade holder to −45 °C. Section thickness and trimming thickness can each be set from 0 to 999.9 µm in 0.1 µm increments.
