The Raw Fiber Analyzer is a benchtop crude fiber extractor designed to quantify raw fiber content in grains, animal feeds, foods, and other agricultural and sideline products. It applies the acid-alkali boiling method: samples are digested under precisely controlled acid and alkali conditions, soluble substances are removed with ether, and residual minerals are eliminated by high-temperature incineration—yielding an accurate crude fiber value.
The analyzer processes six samples per run, making it well suited for quality-control laboratories and research groups that need consistent, repeatable throughput. A full extraction cycle takes approximately 100 minutes, encompassing 40 minutes of acid digestion, 40 minutes of alkali digestion, and 20 minutes of filtration and washing.
Reproducibility is a key benchmark for fiber analysis. This instrument meets tight error tolerances: for samples with raw fiber levels below 10%, the absolute error is ≤ 0.4%; for samples at or above 10% fiber, the absolute error is ≤ 4%. These performance thresholds support reliable data across a wide range of sample matrices and fiber concentrations.
The unit runs on AC 220 V / 50 Hz at 2,800 W and requires a water supply with pressure greater than 1.5 MPa and a water temperature below 20 °C. At 30 kg and a compact 670 × 450 × 670 mm footprint, it fits standard laboratory bench space without a dedicated installation.

What types of samples can this analyzer test?
The analyzer is designed for raw fiber determination in a broad range of matrices including various grains, animal feeds, food products, and other agricultural and sideline products.
How many samples can be processed in a single run?
The instrument processes six samples per run, allowing moderate-throughput batch analysis without manual sequential testing.
How long does a complete extraction cycle take?
A full cycle takes approximately 100 minutes: 40 minutes of acid digestion, 40 minutes of alkali digestion, and 20 minutes for filtration and washing.
What reproducibility can I expect from this instrument?
For samples with raw fiber content below 10%, the absolute reproducibility error is ≤ 0.4%. For samples with raw fiber content at or above 10%, the absolute error is ≤ 4%.
What utility connections does the analyzer require at the bench?
The analyzer requires an AC 220 V / 50 Hz electrical supply rated at 2,800 W, plus a water supply with pressure greater than 1.5 MPa and water temperature below 20 °C.
