The TPLQ-2 Soil Auger Kit is a hand-operated soil sampling tool designed for collecting intact soil cores in field and research settings. Built from stainless steel throughout, the sampler does not contaminate or react with the collected material, making it suitable for studies where sample purity is critical.
The pedal-assisted design reduces the physical effort required to drive the auger into the ground, allowing researchers to work efficiently across multiple sampling points without fatigue. Each insertion retrieves a 15–20 cm soil column, giving consistent depth increments for stratigraphic, nutrient, or contamination surveys.
The total shaft length is adjustable from 1 to 2 meters via the included extension tubes, letting you reach shallow surface horizons or deeper soil profiles without changing tools. Everything needed to begin sampling in the field is included in the kit.

What depth can the TPLQ-2 Soil Auger reach?
The auger's total working length is adjustable from 1 to 2 meters using the four extension tubes included in the kit, allowing you to target different soil horizons without additional equipment.
How much soil is collected with each insertion?
Each sampling stroke retrieves approximately 15–20 cm of soil core, providing a consistent column depth for systematic profile analysis.
Will the auger contaminate my soil samples?
The sampler head and contact surfaces are made entirely of stainless steel, which does not react with or transfer contaminants to the collected soil, keeping samples suitable for chemical or microbiological analysis.
What accessories are included in the kit?
The kit includes one auger head, one handle, four extension tubes, one brush, one spanner, one scraper, and a 3-meter measuring tape—everything required for field sampling out of the box.
How does the pedal mechanism work?
The pedal-type entry allows the operator to apply downward foot pressure to drive the auger into the ground, reducing the arm and back strain associated with fully hand-driven samplers and speeding up work at each sampling point.
