Episode Description
This week on The Conduct Science Podcast, join Tom and Mitch as they break down the latest IPCC climate report! As usual the boys start off the show with some news. This week you can go to mars and anti-parasite caterpillars are talk of the town. Then the boys look at the newly published released 6th report on climate change from The Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change (IPCC). The 5th edition heavily influenced the Paris Climate Agreement in 2015 but how have we been doing to stop / reverse climate change in the meantime?! Tom explains who the IPCC are and how they work and how carbon sinks can become carbon sources. Mitch takes us through the document to explain some key points that we should all be aware of and what we can all do at home to help the fight against climate change.
