Elisa Kits
An ELISA kit is a type of kit used to perform an enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA), a common laboratory technique used to detect the presence of specific proteins or antibodies in a sample. ELISA kits typically include pre-coated plates, buffers, and reagents necessary to perform the assay. The user typically adds a sample containing the protein or antibody of interest to the kit, and then adds a detection antibody that is specific to the protein or antibody of interest. The assay is then run according to the instructions provided with the kit. The result of the assay can be determined by measuring the amount of light that is absorbed by the sample, which is proportional to the amount of protein or antibody present in the sample. ELISA kits are often used in research or diagnostic settings to detect the presence of specific proteins or antibodies in a sample.
