The Microdroplet Collection System holds a droplet-generation chip so that its outlet sits directly in the collection liquid. Droplets enter the liquid as they form, which avoids the flow disturbance and droplet fusion that spoil uniformity when droplets travel through tubing to a separate vessel.

It collects monodisperse droplets of 10–250 µm. UV-curable droplets can be cured in a collection and curing module to make multifunctional polymer particles. Typical uses are food science, drug delivery and particle synthesis.
