Principle
“The Nucleic Acid Extraction Systems employ the principle of magnetic bead-based extraction for high-quality nucleic acid purification.
Binding: Nucleic acids within the sample are selectively bound to the surface of magnetic beads under specific buffer conditions.
Washing: Magnetic separation is used to immobilize the beads while contaminants (proteins, cell debris, etc.) are washed away through a series of buffer exchanges.
Elution: Purified nucleic acids are then released (eluted) from the magnetic beads using an elution buffer, ready for downstream applications.
The automated system precisely controls the movement of magnetic beads and reagents, along with temperature and mixing, to ensure efficient and reproducible extraction.
